Today, my writing friends, I want to introduce you to someone you already know very well, someone you may falsely consider your enemy. I am here to mediate a discussion between you and this acquaintance, hoping to resolve some of the long-lasting misunderstandings between the two of you. Are you ready? Meet Writer’s Block.
Authors like the feel of a book in their hands, but eBooks often offer opportunities that don’t exist in print. Books do not need to be as long. They are also cheaper to publish and distribute, so you can keep your book affordable, which is important when you are making a name for yourself.

If they seem like a great writer, but need an inordinate amount of time, ask if they can get it done sooner or find another writer. There are plenty of great grant writers out there, so don’t feel pressured to settle for a grant writer than won’t meet your needs.
Instead, in this environment, you must offer irresistible bait instead, through the use of effective marketing language. The shopper (or in this case, the fish) will then come running, they will tell all their friends and they will bite your book hook willingly. A great book marketing strategy does not sell, but rather entices the visitor to action.
If it takes you ten hours to write 3 pages, don’t expect your writer to do it in one hour. Your writer is likely to be faster because of being more skilled, but writing takes time.
Plan properly for a project. Use an outline. Break the project into segments and flesh out each segment so that the project is «written» before actual paragraphs are produced.
